Serendipity Mobile Plugin / XHTML MP / iPhone

The Serendipity Mobile Plugin works pretty fine for me and some others but might still contain some bugs. It's stable, baby!

• Redirect mobile devices to another host
• Always output mobile version on a specific host
• Remove user defined HTML elements from DOM
• Remove user defined HTML attributes from DOM elements
• Accesskey enabled navigation including categories
• Mobile sitemap generator with ping functionality
• Rewrite Wikipedia.org links to the mobile wikipedia (wikipedia.7val.com)
• Simple debug output, password protected
• XHTML MP template included, other mobile templates selectable
• iPhone template included

Requirements

• Serendipity >= 1.0.0
• PHP >= 5.0.0 with DOM
• GD (only needed if you want the plugin to resize images)

Installation

• Download the source tarball
• Unpack it to your serendipity base directory (usually $DOCUMENTROOT/serendipity/)
• Make the folder plugins/serendipity_event_mobile_output/wurfl/data/ writable for your webserver
• Point your browser to the serendipity administration panel, install the new event plugin from section Markup
• Enjoy

Updating WURFL

• Download the optimized WURLF XML from above to the plugin's folder wurfl/data/
• Run http://yourblog.com/plugins/serendipity_event_mobile_output/wurfl/update_cache.php to regenerate the cache
